We thoroughly inspect the vehicle you are interested in buying so that you can make your decision with confidence. We begin the inspection focusing on the engine and transmission which include: full visual inspection, engine oil, transmission oil, brake fluid, coolant hoses, battery cold cranking amps and cable condition, belts, air filter, and air condition system.
Moving on to the interior of the vehicle we check the mileage, heating and air conditioning systems, the interior lights, instrument panel operation, horn operation, seat adjustability, seat belt operation, latches, locks, window operation, power mirrors, condition of seats, carpets, headliner and dashboard. The trunk is inspected for previous damage, water leaks, spare tire condition, and for the vehicle jack and tools for tire removal. Lastly we perform an obd2 diagnostic to scan for fault codes in the engine, transmission, abs, and srs systems.

The exterior of the vehicle inspection is then performed. The body and paint are visually inspected for flaws, damage, and panel alignment. All exterior windows are inspected for cracks and rock chips. We continue to inspect the tires for DOT number, proper inflation, remaining tire life, brake pads, struts and or shocks condition, and wheels for cracks, curb damage and missing weights. The vehicle is then jacked up to inspected the underside components. We visually inspect the exhaust system for damage and rust; engine, transmission and differentials for leaks; cv axles and steering rack for torn boots; drive shaft for damage and u-joints for excessive play, and lastly ball joints for excessive play.
The last step is to test drive the vehicle. During the test drive the engine operation is tested for acceleration, power, and smoking. As the vehicle is being driven, we note any unusual noises, operation of transmission, operation of cruise control, operation of air condition system defrost system, suspension feel and alignment, how efficient the brakes perform and emergency brake operation. The entire inspection take approximately 2-3 hours depending on the vehicle and you are provided with the inspection sheet for your convenience.
